Our Story

Pilot Products, Inc. was founded in 1947 by Otto Philip Hebel, Herman Apt, and August Krakehl. This diverse group of men was related by blood and/or marriage. Herbert S. Hebel served as the President and CEO until his passing during the fall of 2011. He led this company in good stead and is missed. The baton has been passed to his daughter, Carolyn J. Hebel, who has been working for the company since 2000. She is the current President and CEO.

The company was founded by a group of immigrants who had a combined technical and business expertise that created a company that has thrived for decades and generations. Pilot Products is dedicated to providing the highest quality natural rubber and customer service. We have the experience and technical ability for all of your natural rubber stamp needs.

Carolyn J. Hebel, President and CEO

Carolyn received her undergraduate B.A. degree in economics from Bucknell University in 1985. She then attended Rutgers University School of Law in Newark, NJ, and graduated with a Juris Doctorate in 1989. After practicing tax and estate law for several years, she became a financial planner in the fashion industry. In 2000, her father asked her to join Pilot Products as Executive Vice President and help lead the company forward. She has led with innovation while honoring the traditions and high standards upon which the company was founded.
